Junami makes a smart snack between meals

That’s because it’s harder for your body to digest the sugars contained in apples than, say, sugars from sweets. Your body has to consume more energy to release sugars from apples. And that’s what makes an apple a smart snack between meals.Apples have also been found to contain a substance that occurs in hardly any other products: phloridzin. Phloridzin is believed to ensure that the sugars you consume are less quickly absorbed by your body. Research has shown that a Junami apple (especially its skin) contains twice as much phloridzin as other apples. So don’t peel your Junami!
